Technology providers and international processing
Acuity uses secure technology services to operate its portal, database, hosting, communications and document workflows. Some providers may process or store information outside Jamaica. Acuity maintains a processor and international-transfer register and reviews safeguards appropriate to the processing.
Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the service, legal, regulatory, professional, contractual, security or dispute-management purpose that applies. Acuity maintains retention rules by data category and reviews records for secure disposal or anonymisation when retention is no longer justified.

Acuity designs its platform around authentication, role-based access, least privilege, audit history, secure storage and controlled release of client information. No security system is absolute; suspected incidents are investigated and handled through Acuity's data-breach workflow.
